Hello, and welcome to Aphelion! Also known as "Many Vampires in Nebraska" ( jokingly, of course ), we're a supernatural / modern/urban fantasy with a crime streak, and an optional boarding school. The school permits both supernatural and non-magical students, and features a middle school, high school, and college on the same campus. We're a no application, no word count, no strict activity check, no cap/ban/ratio, sandbox-y game with larger optional plots to partake in, and feature only six member groups, with a mere four distinct races ( you can also play reborn gods! ). Quite honestly, we're very easy to join; the easiest thing to do is create a mundane human for your first character, pretend we're slice of life, and learn as you go, you legit only need to read the rules and joining guide with this method. This first mundane human can also technically spontaneously develop magic later and become a witch, because magic can manifest at any age. Disclaimer: feels may occur. Disclaimer two: anyone that asks for threads in cbox will probably be told to post an open thread, join an existing one, or post in plotters. If this is off-putting to you, this is not the site you're looking for. We are default rated 3.2.2./high PG-13, but we do go above that via users inputting their birth date.

Ship Status Single
Polyamory What's that?

He's not bulky, but he does have a decent athletic build. Maybe more one suited to things like dancing and gymnastics instead of contact sports, as his muscle is more of a lean type.

Diego's perfectly happy wearing whatever he happens to find that's clean. His dad's never so happy about that, and sort of tried to steer him toward business casual, or at least something that matches, but, well, he was only marginally successful. Sometimes he dresses a little punk or Bohemian, but hey. There's a scar on the right side of his forehead where he smacked into a door frame when he was 9. Gave himself a concussion.

Play By Pablo Morais
Reborn Of Storms/Thunder
A mere vague impression, Diego has odd moments of seriousness probably borne of his former incarnation, and can occasionally generate and expel random electrical charges. He has no conscious control over this, it is entirely random. Perhaps also due to the Storm God's influence, Diego also has a strange natural connection to serpents and, if he was ever in the position to meet one, he'd realise it extends to dragons. It is not entirely known why, but it is thought that somewhere in the world, he had some strange connection to snakes.

Diego was born to one of Luxerion's most notorious criminals, and a mundane human woman. He grew up fairly normally, however, despite all the craziness that often happened around him, but his father was pretty strict about ensuring it never followed him home. For the most part, Diego was pretty unaware of it all until more recently. His father taught him to properly handle, maintain, and fire a gun from a fairly early age, and occasionally took him hunting as a practical means of gaining gun-handling experience.

After Diego turned six, his mother was killed in a car accident. His paternal grandmother stepped up to help raise him more directly, as his father worked a decent amount. It took a while before Diego really understood what happened, so he was and wasn't really upset by it, but that's really the worst thing that's ever happened in his life. When he showed interest in gymnastics, strangely, his father and grandmother encouraged it. When he got interested in art, and started drawing a lot, his grandmother bought him his first set of paints, watercolours, paint brushes, graphite drawing pencils, and thick art paper.

Unsurprisingly, when he was old enough, his father enrolled him in Luxerion International Academy. Diego was mildly upset about this, primarily because the school's such a gigantic one, but his dad took him walking around the grounds and helped him find his classes before school term started, and he felt better about it. He competes in gymnastics competitions occasionally, now, and often has at least two or three pieces in the art fair at the end of the school year. He's expanded his artistic endeavours to oil painting, clay sculpting, and wood working. Diego's also made several jewellery pieces over the years, from metals and tumbled gemstones and cabochons.
